In-house attorneys to be honored at gala event

On April 26, the first-ever In-House Leaders in the Law event will honor in-house counsel in the region who have demonstrated extraordinary professional skills over the past year.
The gala dinner and networking event will be hosted by New England In-House and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, and will take place at the Marriott in Burlington, Mass.
Nominations for honorees are being accepted online at http://events.lawyersweekly.com/In-HouseLeadersintheLaw/nom_reg.cfm.
The honorees will be featured in the March issue of New England In-House and recognized at the April gala dinner.
“We’re looking for in-house lawyers who have demonstrated innovative and practical business and legal skills, either as general counsel or as a staff attorney,” said In-House Publisher Paul D. Boynton. “In real world terms, they have shown, for example, outstanding leadership, vision, and legal expertise for the successful completion of significant complex business transaction, or during major business crisis, or handling a major lawsuit.”
Boynton added: “We thought it was time that in-house lawyers be honored for the difficult work they do, especially as their jobs have become more complex and challenging in recent years.”
