The Boston NAACP has selected an in-house lawyer from Cambridge to replace Michael Curry, who is stepping down after six years as the branch’s president.
Genzyme attorney Tanisha M. Sullivan, who was the initial investigator into allegations of racial discrimination at Boston Latin School, was the only candidate seeking the post.
Curry, a lawyer and health care lobbyist, said he plans to take a more active role in the national NAACP.
