William Alpine recently joined the legal department of Environmental Compliance Services in Wakefield, Mass. as staff counsel.

Doris Bennett recently joined GTECH in West Greenwich, R.I. as assistant general counsel. She had her own practice in Sterling, Mass. GTECH is a gaming technology and services company that provides integrated technology, creative content, and business services to manage gaming markets. It has a growing presence in financial services transaction processing.

Patrick J. Cammarata recently joined the corporate department of Wilmer Hale. Cammarata returned to the firm as counsel in the Boston office, after leaving in 2003 to serve as associate general counsel at DoubleClick Inc., an online advertising service company. While at DoubleClick, Cammarata advised management on various strategic initiatives, including the acquisitions and dispositions of several product lines, and the eventual $1.1 billion sale of the company.

Louis DiPietro recently joined Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton in Waltham, Mass. concentrating on securities and general corporate law. Prior to joining the firm, DiPietro was general counsel of Mainspring, Inc.

David Rogers has become assistant general counsel at A.W. Chesterton Company based in Stoneham, Mass. The company manufactures industrial fluid sealing, polymer solutions, and composite coatings.

Scott D. Spelfogel has joined Needham-based CWCapital as senior vice president and general counsel. Previously, he was with The Berkshire Group. Shannon Zollo recently became a shareholder at Morse Barnes-Brown & Pendleton in Waltham, Mass. Zollo, previously general counsel of Celox Networks, Inc., focuses on securities and corporate matters.

Dorothy Nelson Stookey, regional counsel for The Trust for Public Land in Boston, received TPL’s first “Eureka” award for her leadership and innovation in building and nurturing the TPL and Goodwin Procter pro bono relationship.

Lucinda Treat, chief legal officer of the Boston Red Sox, was honored by Scenarios USA with the REAL DEAL Award. Treat has been Scenarios USA board chair since 1998.
